Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn is an American actress. Her most well-known role is her part as Skyler White on The AMC drama series Breaking Bad for which she was awarded the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series in 2013 and 2014. In addition to playing Martha Bullock and Jean Ward, she has appeared in The Practice. Anna Gunn grew up in Sante Fe New Mexico and was awed by acting while attending Preparatory School. At the end of the 70's, she and her family moved to Ohio. She was a student at Northwestern University to study theatre and was also a student at the British American Drama Academy. Anna worked in Chicago's theatre for several years, before taking on film and television role. Anna's debut role was Arden, in Down the Shore. She was in 29 episodes. After appearing as a Guest Star in several TV Shows and Films, including Seinfeld and NYPD Blue in the 1990's She was then cast as Jean Ward as part of The Practice. Martha Bullock played two full seasons of Deadwood, which was filmed between 2000 and 2001. She also starred as Skyler in Breaking Bad as Skyler, in the year 2008. Sully as well as Deadwood were also an integral part of her professional work. Gunn played a role in the David Schwimmer directed film Sex With Strangers. She was also a part of the four-part podcast audio drama Numbered days, which was made available in 2022. Breaking Bad often revolves around Walter White and Skyler's relationship. The drama's tension and final ending mirrors the last seasons that were the life of Walter White.
